Biography

Jamie Chadwick is a British racer who was born in Bath. Jamie then spent her first years in the Isle of Man, before moving to Gloucestershire, where she attended Cheltenham College.

Her interest in racing began in 2010 when she started karting, aged 11, achieving numerous wins and podiums at club level in the Junior series. 

Jamie’s career highlights include being the youngest driver and first woman to win a British GT Championship. She also became the first female driver in history to win a BRDC British Formula 3 Championship race and in 2019 she became the first woman to win the MRF Challenge championship.

Who is your inspiration and why?

Rachel Atherton (world champion downhill mountain biker) – her response to set back and failure is hugely inspiring.

What advice would you give to girls thinking about getting into motorsport?

Give it a go! There’s nothing stopping you from reaching the top, so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! 

What would it mean to you to win the W Series title?

Everything! As cliche as it sounds, W Series is an unbelievable opportunity so to win it has to be every racing driver’s dream!
