Sarah Moore is a British racer from Harrogate, Yorkshire. She jumped into a kart aged just four years old, and has been racing from the age of eight.
Sarah’s career highlights include winning the Britcar Endurance Championship in 2018 and the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2009.
Sarah grew up within a motorsport family and her dad use to race both cars and karts when she was young.
Who is your inspiration and why?
Mark Webber as he went through a lot of highs and lows during his time at Red Bull alongside Vettel but kept his head high and kept fighting and then went on to compete at the 24 hours of Le Mans.
Another inspiration of mine has to be P!nk. I find I can relate to a lot of her music and love the fact that she is so famous yet so down to earth and lives such a normal life!
What advice would you give to girls thinking about getting into motorsport?
Any girls wanting to get into motorsport should try and get in touch with someone who is already in it. All females are in this fight together, we all want the same thing and that is to be the best! I would do anything to help get more females to the top of the sport.
What would it mean to you to win the W Series title?
To win the W Series would almost be life changing for me as I have struggled to progress to the next stage within motorsport, so feel that it would really help me towards my goal.
