A. The promoter is: W Series Limited whose registered office is at 46 – 48 Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0EB, United Kingdom (Promoter).
B. Promoter’s partner is Hankook Tire & Technology Co Ltd whose registered office is at 286 Pangyo-ro Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, 13494 Korea (Partner).
(together “Promoter and Partner”)
1. The competition
The title of the Competition is Hankook Signed Cap Giveaway. Entrants can win a Hankook-branded cap, signed by W Series Driver, Jamie Chadwick.
2. How to enter
2.1 The Competition will run from 07:00 GMT on 20 December 2021 (the “Opening Date”) to [23:59 GMT on 26th December 2021 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
2.2 All Competition entries made after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
2.3 To enter the Competition each Entrant must:
(a) Visit W Series’ Instagram account and like the competition post, accessible via W Series’ Instagram account: www.instagram.com/wseriesracing
(b) Tag two separate personal Instagram accounts in the comments section of the competition post.
2.4 The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase or charge is necessary.
2.5 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are incomplete, illegal, misdirected or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.
2.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2.7 The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date using software of the Promoter.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The competition is open to individuals aged 13 years or older except:
(a) employees and contractors of the Promoter and Partner or either of their holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees and contractors of agents or suppliers of the Promoter and partner or their holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
3.2 If you are between the ages of 13 years and 17 years (inclusive), you may only enter the Competition with the consent of a parent / guardian.
3.3 In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
3.4 This Competition and these terms and conditions operate in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Entrants that do not live in England & Wales should not enter this Competition if such entry is not permitted under the local law of the entrant’s country/territory.
3.5 There is a limit of one entry per person.
3.6 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
4. The prize
4.1 The prize is a Hankook-branded cap, signed by W Series Driver [Jamie Chadwick]
4.2 The prize subject to availability and there is no cash alternative for the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
5. Winners
5.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
5.2 The Promoter will contact the winner as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, by Direct Message on Instagram via @wseriesracing only.
5.3 Promoter will announce the conclusion of the Competition and that a winner has been selected on its social media channel on or around 29 December 2021 (Announcement Date).
5.4 If you object to any or all of your name, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by emailing [email protected]
6. Claiming the prize
6.1 Once the Promoter contacts you to discuss your claiming of the prize, please allow 28 days for delivery of the prize.
6.2 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of being contacted by the Promoter to claim the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
6.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
7. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
8.1 All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
8.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive all moral rights,
in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
9. Data protection and publicity
9.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information to run the Competition, and if you are a winner, to facilitate your claiming of the prize and promotion of the same. See also condition 5.3 and condition 5.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
9.2 We will share you personal data with our third-party service provider, Falcon, who manages our social-media interactions. Once you have claimed the prize, any personal details we hold about you for that purpose will be deleted.
9.3 Any likes and comments made by you or about you on the Promoter’s Instagram account in relation to the Competition will remain as posted after the conclusion of the Competition.
10. General
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.
10.4 The Competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
