Drivers welcomed at flagship PUMA store in Singapore

W Series today announces that a selection of its leading drivers will be welcomed at PUMA’s flagship Singapore store on Friday 30 September.

Ahead of the seventh race of the 2022 season and W Series’ first-ever race in Asia, which is set to take place on 30 September – 2 October at the spectacular Marina Bay Street Circuit, six drivers will visit the newly-opened Singapore PUMA flagship store – the largest in South-East Asia.

The line-up of W Series stars to visit the PUMA store at [email protected] includes Emma Kimiläinen, Ayla Agren, Bianca Bustamante, Jess Hawkins, Fabienne Wohlwend, and Marta Garcia.

Global sports company PUMA is proud to continue its full support for W Series. The PUMA Motorsport partnership with W Series is an exciting collaboration which has been in place since 2019 and extends beyond just the supply of F1 standard, triple-layer Nomex race suits, that are tailored exclusively for women drivers. The PUMA W Series Team made its debut in 2021 as part of the W Series line-up, and the brand has also created special edition racewear to raise awareness for both breast cancer and Pride.

Catherine Bond Muir (Chief Executive Officer, W Series) said:
“We are incredibly appreciative of the support that our long-standing partner, PUMA, continues to provide. Our brands are perfectly aligned – W Series aims to change the face of motorsport and increase opportunities in our male-dominated industry for girls and women all around the world, while PUMA is committed to celebrating female role models, as shown by their support of W Series since our inaugural season. Together, we are determined to do everything to help our drivers showcase their talent on motor racing’s greatest stage, and that continues in Singapore this weekend when W Series stages its first-ever race in Asia.”

James Clark (Head of Sports Marketing Motorsport & Operations, PUMA) said:
“The partnership with W Series is very important to us and continues to thrive. PUMA has already designed and delivered tailor-made race suits for women drivers, as well as launching our own race team with Emma Kimiläinen and Tereza Babickova driving this season. To celebrate W Series racing in Asia for the first time this weekend, we are excited to welcome a selection of drivers from the championship to our flagship store in Singapore, which is the first and largest in South-East Asia.

“Additionally, everyone at PUMA is proud to be supporting female athletes through the ‘She Moves Us’ platform, which celebrates these pioneering women who continue to push boundaries and break barriers in sport and inspire other females around the world. We are committed to our partnership with W Series and working together to continue to inspire young women and girls to believe that they can achieve anything and perform at the highest level.”
